Creativity is a process of creating something new, innovation. Over the years, art-based therapy and the creativity associated with it has been used as a tool for enhancing wellbeing. Here are a few evidence-based activities that can serve well for you and your school community to enhance wellbeing.
Creativity as a mood-enhancer
When in a negative mood, draw a picture that best represents either your current mood or the opposite, a positive state of mind. This creative act of depicting mood is associated with enhanced experiences of positive emotions. It is even more effective than creative writing.
